Create a Freight
As a shipper, this is how you post a new load to the Pickup2 marketplace. You need "Add" permission on Freight Orders (Owners and Dispatchers have it by default).
Before You Start
- Know your pickup and delivery addresses and dates.
- Know your cargo — weight, volume or dimensions, and whether anything special is required (ADR, temperature, etc.).
- Decide on your target price and payment terms (paid on delivery, N days deferred, etc.).
Open the Create Freight Page
From the sidebar
In the left sidebar, click "Add Load" (or "Add Freight Order"). You'll land on the cargo form at /freight-orders/cargo-form.

Fill In the Freight Details
Locations
Enter the loading and unloading addresses, plus the dates and time windows. Add intermediate stops if the route has them.

Cargo Details
Describe what's being moved:
- Type (general, palletized, bulk, etc.)
- Weight (kg / t)
- Volume or dimensions
- Special requirements — ADR class, temperature range, stackable or not
Vehicle Requirements
Specify what kind of truck you need — body type (tautliner, reefer, box, etc.), minimum size, and features (tail-lift, GPS, etc.).
Pricing & Payment
Set your price and currency. Choose your payment terms — pay on delivery, deferred 14 / 30 / 60 days, etc. Carriers see these when they consider your load.
Publication
Choose where the freight is visible:
- Marketplace — public, any verified carrier can see it
- Specific companies — only the carriers you pick
Save or Publish
Save as Draft
Keep the freight private while you finish details. Drafts appear in My Orders and can be edited or published later.
Publish Now
The freight goes live in the marketplace immediately. Carriers can start sending offers right away.
Only verified companies can publish freights. If your company is still in verification, finish the verification steps first.
After Publishing
- The freight appears in My Orders → Active.
- Every offer you receive opens a chat thread with the carrier automatically.
- You can edit a published freight (e.g. tweak the price or window) until an offer is accepted.
- Need to cancel? Use the Cancel button on the freight details page — carriers who offered will be notified.
Tips
Get More Offers, Faster
- Be specific about cargo and vehicle requirements — fewer back-and-forth questions.
- Set a realistic price for the route; underpriced loads may go unanswered.
- Publish early — carriers plan routes days in advance.
- Respond quickly in chat — carriers move to the next load if you're slow.
