Invoices & Billing
The Billing tab is where you find every invoice tied to your account — most importantly, the receipt for the one-time €1.00 verification fee you paid to activate your company.
Where to Find It
Settings → Company → Billing sub-tab.

What You'll See
The page lists every payment your company has made on Pickup2.
Desktop view
A table with six columns — Invoice #, Date, Description, Amount, Status, Actions.
Mobile view
Each invoice becomes a card showing the same fields stacked vertically.
Each Row Shows
- Invoice number — e.g.
INV-2024-001 - Date — when the payment was processed (e.g.
Apr 20, 2024) - Description — typically "Verification Fee"
- Amount — formatted with currency (e.g.
€1.00) - Status — green "Paid" badge
- Actions — buttons to download or view the invoice
Download an Invoice
Two buttons appear next to each invoice:
Opens the official invoice PDF in a new tab. Save it for your accounting records.
View
Opens the invoice on the payment provider's hosted page (Stripe). Useful if you need to reference the original transaction.
Invoices are issued by the payment provider (Stripe). The PDF includes your company name, address, VAT number, and Pickup2's billing details — ready to file straight into your bookkeeping.
What Counts as an Invoice
Right now, the only invoice you'll see is the €1.00 verification fee. It's a one-time charge that:
- Confirms your identity and unlocks the platform
- Is non-refundable
- Pays for the AI document review that approved your account
Pickup2 itself is otherwise free to use — there are no monthly subscription invoices in this list. If you ever see another type of invoice here in the future (e.g. a Pro plan), it'll appear in the same table.
Empty State
If you've signed up but haven't gone through verification yet, the Billing tab shows:
No invoices yet
That's normal — once you complete verification the receipt will appear here within seconds of payment.
Loading & Errors
- Loading: two skeleton cards with a shimmer
- Error fetching invoices: a red alert with a "Retry" button — click it to re-fetch
Payment Methods Supported
When you paid the verification fee, you could choose from:
- Credit / debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover)
- PayPal
- Google Pay
- Bancontact
- Revolut Pay
- EPS
The Status column on this page reflects the outcome:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Paid | Payment cleared, your company is verified |
| Pending | Bank transfer or method awaiting confirmation |
| Failed | Payment didn't go through — re-attempt from the verification flow |
| Refunded | Rare; only if Support has refunded the fee |
Where Each Invoice Goes (Audit Trail)
Each completed invoice creates a permanent record on Pickup2:
- Visible to anyone in your company with "View billing" permission (Owners by default)
- Stored indefinitely — even after vehicles, employees, or documents change
- Exportable at any time via the PDF download
For tax and accounting purposes, download the PDF and store it locally. While Pickup2 keeps the records, your bookkeeping systems usually want a copy of the official PDF.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why was I charged €1?
The verification fee covers AI-powered document review and confirms you're a real business — it's a one-time charge that activates your account. After payment you can publish freight and fleet offers, and use the marketplace.
Can I get the verification fee back?
The verification fee is non-refundable by default. If you have a specific concern (e.g. duplicate charge), contact Support and they'll review.
The invoice doesn't have my correct VAT number — what do I do?
The invoice details come from your company info at the moment of payment. If your VAT number changed, the next invoice will use the new value. For corrections to past invoices, contact Support.
A teammate paid — why don't I see the invoice?
Invoices are tied to the company, but the "View billing" permission may not be granted to everyone. Ask your Owner to enable the permission for you.
